Photo Museum

The Photo Museum is located below the museum's other buildings. The Photo Museum has several functions, as here there are changing photography and art exhibitions, as well as a permanent bust exhibition with Eigil Knuth's busts of East Greenlanders made in the 1930s, as well as a smaller library where you can dive into the museum's book collection.

At the photo museum you will also find the Ammassalik Museum's head office, and here the staff can be found outside normal opening hours.

The Photo Museum underwent extensive renovation in 2019, so the building now looks modern and accommodating.
