Greenland has a new UNESCO Wold Heritage Site
The world Heritage Commitee under the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has inscribed the Inuit hunting grounds Aasivissuit – Nipisat in West Greenland on the World Heritage List. The Danish Realm now has a total of 10 sites on the list.
